New upgrades to the Dish Hopper system include:
Recover recently deleted recordings (DVR Recycle Bin). Hopper customers now can restore shows that have been deleted within the last 48 hours from their recordings. To do this, go to the DVR menu and select the “Deleted recordings” tile in My Recordings to access all your shows that were deleted within the last 48 hours. Select (highlight) the shows to restore and then select “Restore”.
Watch the hottest TV shows, movies and sports based on what other Dish Network customers are watching. There are two ways to see “what’s hot” on Dish. You can access this feature from the main menu by selecting “What’s Hot” and select shows based on genres, locals vs. national, on now, on next and on today. Using your Hopper remote, you can also use the color keys (red: genres, green: local vs. national, yellow: on now, on next, Today). Content will be sorted by most popular to least popular. You can also access this feature by pressing the blue color key on your remote from the guide.
Use your Bluetooth® headset with your Hopper! No need to disturb others while watching your favorite Dish programming, now Hopper customers can listen to the audio of their programming using their Bluetooh headset. (Feature not available on Joey and only 2 headsets can be connected at one time). To set this up go to the settings and menu, select Bluetooth and then select find devices.
GameFinder App: Follow the scores of your favorite teams and quickly change channels to a new game while watching live TV. To access the GameFinder app from live TV, press the blue color key on your remote and highlight the game you want to watch and press select. If the game is available you can watch or record the event.
